My purpose of my web site will be to educate viewers about the Kingdom of Cambodia. There is a general lack of knowledge as regards to this Southeast Asian country that I would like to amend. Having visited the country in Summer 2010, I can provide information that may be difficult to find with English-language websites.
The intended audience is mainly travelers. This knowledge will also be very useful for academics who may be writing about Cambodia, but have never been there. Lastly, the everyday cosmopolitan or explorer may enjoy hearing about a culture steeped in hundreds of years of exotic history. The content of the site will include pictures taken by me and the group that travelled with me in addition to detailed information about Cambodia's people, land, and history. Also, I will include practical information about travel.
It's difficult for me to find a website that matches what I'm looking for closely. This site comes close to much of the informational content that I want to put on, but I want it to be more visual and less detailed and branched informationally. This site represents how I would like to be more visual about my web site. Of course, that site is a blog so all of the content is only organized in a column by date. I would like to generally combine the organization of the first link with the visual and personal value of the second link.
